Whether you’re going to be making your own baby shower invitations, or buying them elsewhere, be sure to keep the theme of your baby shower in mind. This will have an impact on the design of your invitation, as well as the wording you will use. For example, if it is a jungle theme, choose/create cards with an animal theme. Then you can tie in the wording of the invitation, such as, “We’re not monkeying around! We want you to join us for a roaring good time!”
When sending out invitations, there are a few things you’re going to need to remember. First of all, make sure you send them out at least a month before the event, so that everyone invited has proper time to plan for it. The invitation should include directions to the party, the place of the party, and the time of the party. If you’re going to be using a gift registry, be sure to include that as well. It also helps your guests if you tell them about all of the activities that will be happening at the party. For example, will lunch be included, or just snacks. Do not go into detail, but just give a brief overview.
